This is odd as the article claims we paid a fee and the only quote we have from Wray is that Misun has not signed a contract, so who is actually paying his wages at the moment, is he only a week to week deal until he can prove his fitness, have we paid Celtic any money for him, what was the deal with Celtic I think Wray needs to provide some answers on this and on using Elite Agents to recruit players - we supposedly have a scouting network for this type of thing
yeah i heard we have around 15-20 scouts

I think scouts and agents do quite different jobs.

So do Elite agents have any link with Di Canio?

I assume not, and they are just an agency who try to push players in the normal way, and that they may represent one or two of our targets.

Agents do a selling job.
Scouts do a bob-a-job.

I'm here all week. Unfortunately.

Scouts - Like "Which?" will give you a report on whats on the market and how good it is, take it or leave it

Agent - Like "Money Supermarket" will give you information on whats there, tell you how much you will expect to pay and try and get you to buy it so they get their commision

It's a conflict of interests. The agent doesn't care how good his player is or about the club who is buying him, he just wants his player to move so he gets x % commision etc.

Dear me.

You could say that about any agent.

Surely it's up to the manager/club whether or not we sign them.

That's what I'm hoping for, however this agent represents Di Canio aswell which is why I'm a bit cautious on the whole thing.
