Xmas Eve
Out for a curry with the gang at 7pm, then on the piss until 12.30, scored 3 gals phone numbers as well. Came home and fell to sleep on sofa, by the glowing fire, having actually managed to please evryone I purcashed a prsent for.

This Morning
Woke up about 9am thanks to pesky little brothers- but who cares, it's xmas right? Opened presents, did bloody well this year- managed to collect 500 quid in cash, 100 in cheque, clothes, a few CDs and a couple of decent reads (John Peel tribute and Adrian Mole)

Afternoon
Went and had a community stylee xmas dinner at the pub with the rest of the village, great atmospher and free bar (hired out the pub- fucking ace). Ended up stuffing myself and getting mildly to semi heavily drunk, had a good sing song too. Got all emotional with a couple of birds about how xmas used to be as a wee lad.

Now
Sobered up considerably well (due to obsene amounts of turkey etc!). I'm off next door in half an hour for a little get together, namely in the cause of trying to nob the fit blonde who lives there (we don't get on but she'll be on the vodka)

Hope you've all had a fucking ace day, hopefully I'll be fit to go to grandparents Boxing Day do, always a good 'un.

Cheers!

My day involved being woken up at 8:30am to open my stocking (ffs I wanted a lie-in), getting up and waiting all morning for my Nan to wake up (she'd been awake once!) so I could open some more presents, then lunch with my Dad's miserable brother, then watched Harry Potter and tried to not fall asleep. Open rest of presents, realise how much I'd spent on my parents for Christmas, then watch Harry Potter again (Nanny friendly viewing) and then Turkey sandwiches and Midsomer Murders and on here now, going to go and watch a DVD in a bit methinks.

mine was alright. got up about 10.30am as i'd gone to bed at about 10.30pm the night before after a christmas eve schmoke, needed to catch up on a bit of sleep as i was nackered from working virtually constantly in hmv which is hectitc around this time of year. opened presents with me ma and pa, then fannied about for about an hour, watching soccer am dvd whilst trying to clear my room of the debris from last night and this morning.

driven up to my nans at 12 where we ate a lush lunch around 1 then hit the stellas and talked for hours. chomped down a few mince pies, chirstmas cake, and cheese & biscuits, then listened to my unlce play harmonica for a bit. played my cousin at shitty fifa (he's too pussy for pro evo) and lost 1-2 to portsmouth as oxford in my first game on fifa for yonks. listened to some jokes, came home and watched all of soccer am dvd.

work at 11am tomorrow

Just been speaking to a mate in Australia on MSN - he said 'I'm glad Boxing Day Eve is over' and this year I can't help but agree (although I loved it. 36 consecutive hours of Test match viewing starts at 8am.

yea i have to admit although i've been guilty of the old "xmas is crap now" and "it used to be so good" today was sweet as a nut. woke up of my own accord at about 9ish. opened some proper cracking pressies that i really wanted/need (footy boots, fm05, blah blah) went to my stpedads mums and scooped £50 that i really 100% wasnt expecting.

got home went and had a kickabout but got a blister  Sad  then played fm for ages had a sweet dinner. then played fm for more time and went on a big unbeaten run, which was nice

xmas back to its best

Woke up at 11ish to the sound of voices around me.  Hang on I thought where the hell am I?  Face down on the setee in the lounge.

After about a minute of not moving and trying to work out where the hell I was I eventually spied a chance to get up and go to my own bed without piss taking and interrogation.

Hangover logic only being second to drunk, I thought that if I went to my bed no one would actually notice that I slept n the couch.

Got up again at 12 still slightly pished.

Had a proper hangover hunger like Rick Waller on acid so had a fantastic Christmas lunch.  Massive turkey everything done to perfetion.

Opened presents and spent the day trying to piece together the events of yesterday.  It had all started so well, I was out for a few beers with friends at 2 after work until about 7 when I realised that I had to slow down or face proper extermination style drunkeness.  Must admit while parts of the night are hazy I didn't do to bad.  Ruffling the hair of some fucking big South African with some wise crack about him and his mates was not the brightest of things to do, but I think he was as taken back with it as much as I was.

Arrived home after talking shite with the taxi driver (another bloody South African) who was a nice enough chap.  Found my brother still up so captured a 1.5 litre bottle of Stoli Vodka from Russia and then proceeded to drink the bottle between the two of us with me doing the most damage.

Which takes me back to why I awoke on the living room setee.  Apparently I just conked out, saying something then nodded off mid sentence. Cool

Strangely no hangover at all today \0/ had a cracking day got an absolute mountain of DVDs, clothes, CDs and PS2 games to keep me occupied.  Couple of good books as well Danny Wallace's Join Me and James Freys A million Little Pieces.

Knackered now and just got a slight touch of the hangover paranoias from where both me and my surviving mate from last night have no recollection.

Mate Emma is back tomorrow and she's likely to make me go out and play and I am not sure if I really want to or capable of it.

Hope everyone had a great day!
