So where do Swindon traditionally go to drink in O*ford before the match? When I used to go in the "old days" I either travelled to the Manor on coach from the CG or via the buses taking Town fans straight from O*ford railway station (ie with Police escort).....

I did used to live in O*ford too, and managed to catch an away game (FA cup at Kassam) but had a few crafty pints in town that day and didn't see much of a ST presence in the centre....

Why! I worked in Oxford for three years and wore my prominent STFC tie everyday. Only once did someone comment on it and that was a guy who asked what the badge was. When I told him he scratched his head, picked up his thesis and minced off down the road. I don't think he was a football fan.

I was talking to my mate about this the other day. Will there be buses running from Oxford train station to the Kassam ??

I think we plan to drink in the City centre and keep our heads down. Living in north Oxon, the train is the best way for us.

Not sure what your line of work was, but had you been a medic specialising in consanguinity making visits to Blackbird Leys, I somehow doubt you'd have escaped comment

I think it's safe to assume that both games will be shitty early kick offs.

This is one of 6 to 10 away games, I would gladly walk (& swim) from Hamburg to go to

Probably having a good laugh that a grown man was wearing a football team tie. Do you still have your name printed on the back of your replica shirt too?
