There is an article in The Times today on Di Canio. It says he watched us 3 times last season so he must have a good idea of who he wants to keep and who he is booting out ?

Surely he means 3 televised games. He would have been spotted in the crowd during the last few games of the season.

I have seen something like this quoted elsewhere - perhaps even the OS. My reading of it was that he has watched dvd's from 3 matches at different stages of the season, and he went on to say that the team didn't play as a unit in any of them.

Prutton of old was a good player, unfortunately for anyone that signs him that is long gone.  SheffW must be planning on staying in Lge1 for a while if this is the calibre of player they are bringing in.  They recon he is 6 ft plus too?  Didn't look bloody 6 ft to me!

Superb news - him and Rose were arguably our worst players last season so I'm delighted to see the back of them.

This is one of those times where if any teams see these comments they will think we are just being bitter etc but believe me i am so happy he has gone.You only need to look at the threads throughout the season where people have voiced this opinion

One of those players who you can see is now at that stage in his career is happy just getting his wages.Tries saying all the good stuff to the fans when in truth he is the laziest fucker i seen at this club in years.

Him and rose were woeful this season for us

 With Prutton and Dossevi gone that hopefully means no more headbands. There's still another 8 or 10 who need showing the door.

Got rid of Wilson's failures in Rose and Prutton now. Good stuff. Dossevi and AOB already gone as well. Just Pericard to go now. That's surely a huge chunck of the wage bill gone? I'm hoping we can keep hold of Douglas now Prutton has gone.

As you all know i really liked him!!

Sad to see him go.

Reality check::::::

Only played well in the last few games and got my MOM for Oldham and Plymouth away. BUT overall shit......he got sent off against MK away and although i wasnt cheering i was relieved to see the back the knob that day......I also remember telling Southmoors Harry that day, we had enough in the tank to worry about relegation...sigh...

Just gave the ball away too cheap and couldnt tackle....

Wednesday must be mad......
