I must admit that when his name was first mentioned, I was all for it.
Then when Hamann was mentioned, I was all for that too. Probably more so.
But we've got Di Canio and he's got my backing. Maybe he'll do a Wise, maybe he won't.
I don't think the board have done this on a whim, perhaps he's got an amazing no.2 lined up. Who knows maybe he's been sent dvds over the last couple of months, giving him time to put together a presentation and a list of players that he wants for his interview and he blew the board out of the water?
Whatever.
