I'll still be going, my love of the club is bigger than one man, that coupled with a 'what the fuck else am I going to do on Saturdays' attitude.
The leader of our local Neighbourhood Watch fiddles with dogs (allegedly) but I still go to meetings, its not that much different is it?

I'm very excited by the appointment, it has really got me interested in STFC again.
This season since Christmas was such a nightmare and the games were so painful to watch I really got fed up with it and decided not to renew my season ticket which I had for 15 years. I have a young son and I just spent the games wondering why I was there and not spending time (and having fun) with him, i'm sure a lot of new dad's feel the same, more important things in my life now.
I'm still going to stay away next season apart from the odd game but I can't wait to see what PdC does over the summer, I really think he is what we need, breathe a bit of life into the club, fire up the players.
It is a gamble and it could all go wrong but I'm hopeful he is going to do a really good job.

It's a crying shame that two good members of this forum feel so strongly about the appointment that they have deleted their accounts, it's kind of deflated my excitement somewhat.
