Good man Foggy. Where abouts and what hole, might have played it?
I've got 3 to my name somehow but I've played a lot of golf.
2nd at Bowood- hit an 8 iron a bit thin and it's rattled up the hill clattered the flag and gone in, 4th on the 9 hole Broome Manor course- downwind, piped a wedge all down it, pitches a foot behind the cup and nibbles back in, and a 5 iron on the 3rd at North Wilts, pitched front edge and rolled 40 foot to the back pin and in.
I'm pretty fucking good.
Morning Dave, It was the par 3 8th Hole at Salisbury and South Wilts CG, clipped it in off the front bank with an 8 iron.

I played yesterday at Huntercombe, some of the hardest pin positions I've ever experienced. Lovely course though and very tough, haven't played much this year but they still had me playing off 12, only had three pars, no birdies and never bothered the pin on the par threes. DRS I four putted three times, and this is no lie. On the third I was on the green in regulation about 10 foot from the pin, second putt was 10 yards past the pin, third put was short by a foot, frustrating game innit.

hitting the straight drives, close approaches and the long putts is what keeps us coming back for more.even when it all goes tits up(regularly for me) knowing you can do it at times is why golf is so addictive. well that's how it is for me anyway

Straight drives are a thing of the past for me Arriba, I seem to play more and more recovery shots than I ever use to from my eratic driving when I get out the big bertha, it has got so bad this year that I have gone from using a driver to hitting a two iron off the tee on par fours and fives to keep my ball in play, stupidly on occasions the temptation to use her still takes grip, even though I know I'm going to pay on most occasions but thats golf. Shot of the day for me yesterday after using BB on a 276 yard par four, hit the ball in the trees about 10 yards short of the green on the left, found my ball covered in leaves and a very restrictive area to swing my club, I had to crouch down quite low or stick my head in a holly tree, bringing the club back no more than a foot, chopped under the ball, up she went, over the bunker and onto the green, travelled about 20 foot across the green and ended up a three foot past the pin (bloody two-putted though, gutted). My good and bad drives I will never remember in weeks to come, but that shot I will.

Get on the putting green gents!
I play a half decent standard but the low handicap and scoring well comes from putting, putting and more putting - when I used to have lessons regularly I spent at least 2 hours putting to every hour on the range.
