If it isn't Hamann now I will be really miffed. Even if they announce Burley, who I thought would be a brilliant appointment a few days ago would seem like second best.

We don't know 100% for sure if he applied and whether he was serious if he did.

Imagine if they appoint one of the Scottish guys after all this speculation. Meltdown.

A couple of weeks ago, I sensed some were warming to the idea of Trollope.  But since Burley, Di Canio and now Hamann have been linked, it would be an anticlimax.

Can't see it especially if Hamann did actually apply for the job. Could be a fall back option for the board though if PDC leaves sooner than we'd like?
