Wife is very happy with her 40D,
I would also be happy with a wife with 40D. Sorry that was too good an oppotunity to pass up.

I got a Nikon in the end, preferred the entry level ones to the canons.

Whats the type of lens called that makes things look like they're in miniature. And I don't mean wide angle or zoom out or any shit like that, it does something with the perspective to make it look a bit wrong. Think they just used the effect on Eurovision.

Fisheye? Probably not, it does make things a bit wrong, not sure I'd describe it as miniature.

Nope. Having read up some more it looks like the trick is to sharpen the area of focus and then blur the rest of it. Sure there was a name for the type of lens though.

Think they are called tilt shift lenses, not very common. You could create a similar effect with a Macro lens I guess. I would also be happy with a wife with 40D.
Sorry that was too good an oppotunity to pass up.
Good work, well spotted......
