On my way tomorow for a week on this lovely isle.
A week of relaxation,much vino and great food,hope to discover the north of the Island a little this time,El Golfo in the West of the Island is a breathtaking place.
Though we are staying in a busy part of the Island you are only a few mins away from breathtaking scenery and weather.
Fire Mountain at Timafaya will get another visit, to actually stand a few metres above the volcano that formed the island many moons ago is most surreal.
Like the way that the island is strictly regulated and new building is very rare,green and white with the brown is law so no garrish architecture.
We all have our favourite places on earth,this is mine for the next week at least.

Holidays are the best time of year by far. It doesn't matter if you spend a week in a caravan at south cerney or a month on a luxury yacht sailing the carribbean. It's a time to forget the stress if work and normal life, take your pot of savings and chill the fuck out.
I love holidays I does.
