Talking of people being dropped, I'm surprised how sparingly Benyon has been used by all 3 managers this season. Hasn't looked amazing in the games I've seen him in, but as our one out and out goalscoring striker it doesn't bode well that no one seems to rate him enough to have given him an extended run in the side.
Hopefully League 2 is just his level and he'll bang them in for us next season.

I thought Bodin started him!

I found the language used when we signed Benyon a bit strange too. Probably reading things that weren't there but IIRC there were words like 'hopefully he'll make the step up'. Made it sound like they weren't sure about him in the first place.
He hasn't had a fair crack of the whip though.

Unused sub against Oldham. Since he came back against Plymouth his minutes played go 6,6,0,7,90,78,0,35,9,70,0. Don't think he's God's gift or anything, just seems curious to me how little we've used our one striker.

It seemed at the time he was very much a Plan B. The deal went through late and only after several other deals (Joe Mason and apparently Billy Kee) fell through. Danny didn't seem delighted with his capture either did he?

A fully fit Pavett will score goals for us in League Two. Mark my words.

Not much mention of Pavett recently, I wonder how he fits in with di Canio's plans for next season. Anyone ever seen him play?

If Pavett is near the first team then we are screwed!!!!
Got a mate at work who supports chelmsford and he failed to make the grade for them when on trial!
Unfortunately it seems like the samsung find a pro thing is about marketing as opposed to actually getting a player, guess it costs us nothing so no harm.

Well according to one of the posts above from Mark Hanrahan he could prove to be a decent player, so who knows.

To be fair I've got a mate who played for Hungerford and said Austin was complete wank when we signed him.
Even if he isn't much cop there's no doubt he would've improved a hell of a lot after 6 months training with a professional club. I don't really think it's fair to make such sweeping statements based on the comments of 'a mate'.
