Salaries will reflect league status - Watkins

SWINDON will not be saddled with paying out high wages in League Two, with the club having made provisions in all player contracts to account for the financial implications of relegation.

On Saturday I overheard a player's wife/girlfriend saying "he" wanted to get out because of the pay-cap at the club in League two..Not sure how much of a drop it is but she was adamant he was leaving..

If you don't want to be constrained by the League Two pay cap, don't get relegated into League Two. Simple really.

I always read STFU as stuff you, even though I know it means shut the fuck up. Isn't that strange?

Doesn't this have a knock on effect with Cuthbert, where if we don't offer him a contract as good as the one he's on he can fuck off for no compensation? Or have they changed the rules on that?

That could be the scenario for Saturday at Tranmere!

Exactly right. We need to offer him the same terms or better than he's on at the moment.
