Been discussed many times before but wanted a new post to encourage uses to sign up to this if they've not already done so.

You can do that here:
http://www.fsf.org.uk/news/Six-for-safe-standing.php

Currently there are around 10,000 signatories but more are needed for this to stand any chance of being successful (slim chance, I know).

That link also has some suggestions on what else can be done i.e. contact MP, club, etc.

The response has been dissapointing.

Always the same in English football though, the fans who are passionate in the ground fail to make their voices heard away from the ground.

To be fair, in this instance they are right, no one in power will take any notice of this petition. The only way we will get change is if the fans at the top level make such a mockery of the 'no standing' rules that clubs get fed up of paying the money to try and steward it.

Interesting to see that Safe Standing could be happening in Scotland.

Yep, the SPL should be congratulated.  Now lets hope that any club that introduces this can get the necessary safety certificates...

FA, are you listening?

It's not a foregone conclusion it will happen in Scotland - looks like they haven't even consulted with the Police.

The difference in England is that it would require a change in the law and I'd say there is fuck all chance of that happening.
