I can't believe I'm going to this. What a waste of my time and effort.  Would like to see players playing with a little pride and try to entertain us but If I don't care then why should a bunch of players change their habits of a season? 2 0 Oldham.

having no pressure on the result is a bit weird, feels like a friendly.

Hopefully some of the young 'uns can impress and i just hope whoever plays puts a good shift in.

Actually quite looking forward to this.

Nothing to play for bar pride which will ensure a nice home win for Bodin.

This is a dead rubber so I expect a positive result.

Oldham along with Notts County and ourselves are probably the 3 worst teams in the league on post January form....the only real issue is can we score 3 goals in a game to avoid this becoming the only time in CG history that STFC haven't achieved that in at least 1 game during the season.

Any thoughts on what the line-up will be this afternoon?
Don't think there's a lot of choice but perhaps something like:

Smith (or one of the young uns?)
Caddis
Cuthbert
LJF
Rose
Ritchie
Ferry
Douglas
Bodin
Benyon
Andrew

(4-2-4 in Paul Hart's eyes)

He's already stated it will be 442 and is there any point playing andrew as he wont be here next season but that does leave us with no height upfront if we use bodin and benyon.

He may use andrew tho if he wants the job on a permanent basis.

Taylor, Taylor - hope he's playing for them. I see no problem with playing Thompson, Evans and Bodin today. Lets' see what they've got.
I'm going to enjoy today.

As said Andrew is only striker with height so difficult not to play him (no point playing Pericard even if fit if he won't be here next year).
Zippy said he likes to attack and get crosses on so that is thinking with playing Ritchie and Bodin wide.

Thompson and Evans both out injured.

I wasn't aware bodin can play wide so that could work, I've seen the reserves a few times when macklin was here but have not seen bodin play out wide before so that could be interesting if bodin senior opt's for that.

Some kiddy on Twitter said that Miles Storey was on the bench.

First Town player to be named after a car park?

I made some kind of plan to get up at a reasonable time and go to the game today. It didn't work so I'm going to Waitrose instead.

A comfortable home victory between two sides with nothing left to play for but a Town side rejuvenated by recent events will come out on top.

Not much chance of getting to see Pavett in action is there? Seems a bit strange that there were all sorts of whispers coming out about incredible talent in the Samsung competition and then he's disappeared into thin air (or the stiffs) ever since.

Bodin quoted in Adver report as saying he's not quite ready yet
