Playing the Swindon side from 3 years ago when we play Southend.
The fact i'm going to Uni in Northampton in September and if all goes well Swindon will play a game there.

And being turned over by them will really show how far we have fallen.

Now I have weekends off, I can attend more games.
Looking forward to the summer. Looking forward to possible new appointments. Looking forward to the wielding of the axe. Looking forward to the rumour mill. Looking forward to new signings. Looking forward to a new season. Looking forward to Oxford United.
I don't support Swindon Town for the division we play in... Just wish we weren't in League Two again that's all!
Excellent post. Would also add the release of the new season's fixture list. Would love to be getting ready for summer but sadly have a southern hemishpere winter to get through first. Hey ho, can't have everything I suppose.

What we are going to call the Adkins Family Stand.
Who our new manager is going to be.
Who we release and bring in.
Fixture list/pre-season friendly announcements
Kit
Usual really.

Pox. Not standing in The Town End. Being able to see the game from DRS. A few more wins.

I've just realised there's potentially 12 new grounds for me next season, depending what happens in the L2 & conference play-offs, which would see me to 50.
That would depend on me doing them all though and going to places like Rotherham and Accrington.

not being able to get BBC Swindon in Bristol no season ticket and accompanying sense of duty getting back to full fitness to restart my gridiron 'career' going to Berlin for new year moving back in with the girlfriend
basically, everything that doesn't involve watching the Town. I need a break. I'll only keep my interest via news stories and the TEF.

If next season is as nail biting as 5 years ago, i'm not looking forward to it one bit.

New Gay Meadow - whatever that is called. Never been to Shrewsbury for any reason. Didn't realise it was practically Welsh - a bit like Hereford.

Shrewsbury is a great town, great pubs close to the old Gay Meadow. Great chip shop there as well. Not sure about the new one but the old one was ace as was the day out. Its practically Welsh but they are good patriots..like hereford.

Last time up there under Wise was a fantastic away day.
Bet the new one is crap though. Saw it miles out of town on the way in on the train in 2006.
Can you even get back to the station in time to make the connection at Newport?

I saw Kamara chin Melrose there many years ago. I think that was when Douglas Bader Geddes scored the winner for us

Remember the little boat in the river for when the ball went over the stand at Gay Meadow.
