When do Timmy, Thompson, LJF and the rest have to let the club know by?

Heard from a friend who's spoken to Timlin that he's waiting to see who else comes / goes before deciding - doesn't sound very committed to me !    Bye

Southend are probably the only club who will offer hime anything anyway.

If Southend (or any other club) give him two years then you would imagine that he would take it.

First post in this thread. I'm keeping it up to date.

Can you update Misun so it says "who the fuck knows" for his contract status?

So I guess anyone out of contract on July 1st will be on that list.

If JPM is off and none of the out of contract players sign - and let's face it, they would have done so by now - we've got 14 professionals on our books and almost half of that includes Scott, Thompson, Flint, J Smith, Bodin and Pavett who have a grand total of 12 football league appearances between them.

I love a good rebuild but that's a hell of a lot of players to bring in by pre-season.

My one concern at the moment is the number of people in the squad that we are counting he will probably not be good enough, every year people count these sort of players but they just fill up the squad or are youths, like

scott
kennedy
evans
thompson
Bodin
pavett
storey

Bodin may have a chance, kennedy was crap at both loan clubs in this league and i dont see the others featuring. so we really have

lucas
smith

manks
flint - inexperienced
devera

smith - inexp
Ritchie
ferry
dougie - hopefully!
jp/tims unlikely

benyon

thats 9 players that are good enough to mount a challenge, and two of those have barely played in the league.

Know now is not the time to panic, but preseason in two weeks could be interesting to start with, be lucky to play 5 a side games!
