Half time. From listneing to Vic I would say we have been the better team.

They are terrible, we are doing fairly well but not finishing chances. Too little too late still.

Have played half decent in the first half.
Probably should have been in front by more based on the first 25/30 mins. County have had a couple of decent chances towards the end of the first half, aided partly by our mistakes getting caught on the ball.
Really think our best chance is to try and get another goal, not convinced that we will hang on to a clean sheet.
I know most in here won't like it, but Rose has done alright playing on the left side of midfield.

Well I'm listening to Farnborough v Woking on Radio Surrey. Woking are 2-0 up which, unless Farnborough launch a comeback of comebacks, means Braintree Town are promoted to the Conference.

That's actually the game I've been following today as well. Rather disappointed though. (Live in Farnborough.) Even still, Farnborough have done amazingly well this year. Play off final losers (to Gloucester) two seasons ago in the Southern Premier. They then responded to that defeat (STFC take note) positively by walking the division the following year to win promotion to the Conference South. And this year, they had a decent stab at automatic promotion again. Proper team spirit. It's a shame my own club hasn't got the balls that my local club has.

Fascinating. Anyone got any idea if anyone's playing at the CG this arvo? Just out of curiosity like.

Small world I feel exactly the same about my local club (well not so local since I moved, it's about 30 miles away) but anyway...Braintree in fairness have been top since about the third week of the season and never been out of the top two. At one point they were 11 points ahead then Farnborough went on a storming run, beat Braintree 2-1 and I was convinced a few weeks ago that they'd blown it. But they kept plugging away and they are on the verge of a fantastic achievement. It's going to be very, very tough for them in the Conference next season but they got there. Fair play
