Popped into the Duke Of Edinburgh on the way home A suprisingly nice pint of Guinness is served there. Good on you. I was almost tempted at about 10.00am this morning, but then decided I had too much to do, poxy laptops. Forgot to text Boo an all

Hence the extras after the game then, unsurprisingly. Pretty dire isn't it

Because I'm an adult I intend to remain seated when the teams come out and IF we score a goal I will remain seated rather than do my demented chimp routine. It will be a protest of Ghandi proportions. I can attest that the grumpy sod did exactly as promised. The equally adult gentleman next to him did not.

I intend to do this for the next 2 home games and possibly the Wendies away. I was told I wouldn't be able to do it but I found it easy. I nearly cracked with Monkhouse but didn't. As for the game - a complete pile of dogshit. Hartlepool would never have scored in a million years, so what do we do, give them one. In a season of giving away comedy goals this was pure Keystone Cops. They then go down to 10 men early in the 2nd and we're still shite. Sheehan's crossing was gash. Frampton was fucking useless - I hope to God he doesn't stay. Andrew and Benyon had poor games. Ritchie was by a country mile MOM. As soon as we're down I hope they play the youngsters and loanees. As for Trollope as manager, how completely underwhelming. Its not going to put bums on seats unless we win a few early doors. Oh well, we'll equal the record next Saturday and then beat it in the next home game - how fitting.

We should just turn and face away from the pitch at Brentford for 90 mins.

Has anyone noticed how desperate Dougie is to score a goal before he leaves at the end of the season? Takes all the free kicks, shoots from miles out. He still won't score for us. This is one for Reg to answer, which outfield player holds the record for most appearances without a goal for us?

One positive is that JFL was fucking excellent today. 10 times the player that Cuthbert is.

Agreed. Although I still think he would make a cracking midfielder.

he was excellent today. Don't agree about him being better than Cuthbert, unless you mean on current form.

Lescinel, Caddis and Ritchie were all pretty good today. All three feature on my (otherwise very short) retained list.
We are now down, no two ways about it and should plan for next season. If Trollope is coming in then fine, he's not my first choice but I'll get behind him because of who his dad is more than anything else. Get him in now and play the players who will be here next year, fuck putting the out of contract guys in the shop window, sod the desperate loanees (Unless they're going to sign in summer). Give Will Evans, Billy Bodin and the like a go, because we sure as hell won't find out if they're good enough without playing them.

Cuthbert has been utter dog toss this year. JFL is still improving. He is better than Cuthbert on current form and overall. He's just better.

That fact that he is Swindon Town's Manager (assuming he does get the gig) would be another excellent reason to get behind him

I agree with most of that, I don't agree he's better overall because whilst he was flawless today in my opinion he has his Jerel Ifil moments thoughout a season. Cuthbert went a whole season last year and was superb throughout. So we'll have to disagree.
