Torquay fan here. I have been keeping an eye on how you get on week in week out. I was just wondering how Benyon is doing with you and your opinions on the lad seeing as he has been with you for nearly two months now?

Not seen Benyon play much.

Scored in his first outing. Got injured. Then we sacked Danny Wilson. Now we have Paul Hart who only plays with one recognised striker - which isn't Benyon.

Must be very frustrating for him.

His injury has been a major nail in our coffin.

Danny Wilson and our board stupidly decided that his signing would be enough to keep us up, when in fact we probably needed 3 new strikers in january.

Least he's off the mark in terms of goals.

Benyon's last minute goal v Dale, preserved our unbeaten record against them, along with 2 wins in Sky games, the only highlights of a train wreck of a season.

Personally feel he could do well in lge 2 next year.....seemed to struggle with the physical part of the game in this division.
Not fair to judge him.............though it is a mystery to me why he isn't playing given the plight we are in.

And yes Reg we did.

So this season hasn't been a complete waste of everyone's time then. The cricket season starts next weekend, can't come soon enough for me.

Unfair to judge him on what we have seen so far, looks very much like a sniffer, like his movement in the box, scored a dramatic late equaliser on his debut and the only other time I have seen him he was only inches away from giving us a deserved win against the Daggers.  Sadly Mr Negative Cunt (that's Paul Hart) will not play with two up front, just likes one big man - who cannot hit a barn door from five yards - but he works hard and pulls the defence sideways.  If only Mr NC would play a straight 4-4-2 with Benyon playing alongside Andrew I am sure he would be scoring on a regular basis for us.

Mr NC is doing a considerably better job than Mr POF did this season

You can't beat an Open Sandwich.....just ask fB.

When I was a kid, I recall visiting a replica Viking ship just outside Sandwich....it had been sailed to England by some mad Danes, to commemorate something or other. Good stuff though, been interested in the Vikings since.
