On loan until the end of the season.

Presumably they have an an injury and he is cover.

I must be one of the only few Swindon fans glad to see him go.

He's a liability.

I was a bit meh when he went.

Not replacing him was the problem, a great big fucking obvious one at that.

He's a liability.

I think that's slightly harsh. He is still young. Fair to say he isn't the finished article yet and time is ticking on...

I disagree with DV though. For me Cuthbert and Frampton are our starting 2 every day of the week. We have cover from LJF and (until recently) Flint. Not replacing Morrison wasn't key for me.

Yeah but we should have replaced Morrison with a defender that was better than Flint, LJF, Frampton and Cuthbert.

Like you i'd have Cuthbert and Frampton as my starting 2 from a poor choice of 4.

Someone like Greer then Smiley

**Runs and hides**

Seriously of course if there was better out there we should have brought them in. Perhaps that was the theory behind Misun. But that didn't go too well.

We've missed his attacking presence at corners and his long throw more than his defending (or lack thereof).

I do love how Greer has gone from a decent, mostly-solid player for us last season to become the greatest defender we ever lost. Memory is a funny thing, I've managed to forget all the shit things he did (other than that stamp) yet I can remember at the time I never thought he was that good. In fact, at the time I thought Cuthbert was better than Greer.

I think the centre backs are good. You defend as a unit, and its the full backs that have made us leaky (although we have tightened up a lot in the past 6 weeks). Caddis and Rose weak in defence.

Morrison's goals going forward needed replacing with a decent sized old fashioned centre forward (like Andrew). But we didnt need another centre back.

And Frampton is far from awful.

Without going over old ground Greer offered much more than just his technical ability. His experience was vital to us. Why else would Brighton pay £250k for him.

i remember people saying cuthbert was better, and i remember aruging he wasn't.
i also said greer should be player of the year.
some of us could see how valuable he was when he was still here.
