We all agree that a draw at Hudds is a good result............my gripe is the negative tactics in the last THREE matches go in the face of the wind in a relegation dog fight....GO FOR IT FOR FUCKS SAKE...........we have nothing to lose....lets try and win a game instead of trying to draw one.
Leefer I think I love you.

Just got back. I've not seen us much this season, only the televised games and the away game at rochdale before this and I've read reports from games on here so I wasn't expecting much.
I wouldn't say we deserved a point, we got a bit of luck when they hit the bar 3 times and had another 3 cleared of the line. We hit the post straight after half time, but other than for those 10-15 minutes we didn't offer too much up front. Andrew worked his socks off, chasing hopeful punts and putting himself a bit. He reminded me of Heskey - whether thats what we need I don't know. Grella and Ritchie looked good- before they we replaced by full backs.
The substitutions were defensive, a point at second in the league is a point gained. So I understand why they took place - there were murmurs from people, and I agree we could've gone for it - but from what I saw if we did that we would've lost. Ifs and buts.
I don't think I could fault the players for their efforts today, but having not seen us play for a while, I haven't come away thinking we'll stay up either.

Watched today high up on the half way line. Superb effort and great defensive shape. A great point all things considered. Andrew worked his socks off and the midfield 3 snapped away. Back 4 did very well too.
That said, i'd have liked us to put some pace on instead of Rose. Andrew was left completely isolated. And I'll be watching the highlights closely, because I'm pretty sure that was in at the end.

I almost hope we don't turn this around.
I really think we've left it too late to save ourselves, and if we do manage to find a way to defend effectively for the rest of the season, scrap for points and get the odd win, I'm just going to end up even more furious that the club dicked about so indecisively whilst Wilson allowed the players to piss the season away.

Just got back. Lots of positives to take, can't fault the effort and discipline of the players, defesnsively we did very well. Frampton was immense, Caddis and Sheehan excellent too.
However, my only gripe is negative substitutions...yes it worked from a defensive side of view and we got a point but Andrew was clearly knackered and ran into the ground after about 75 minutes..which meant we were devoid of any sort of goal it seemed.
Andrew is a willing worker but Benyon should have been thrown on, we really needed fresh legs. Timlin worked his socks off too, but he showed today that he doesn't have any quality in the final third....we had a great chance at the end, but he mis-controlled it completely.
All in alll, if we show that kind of fight we can still pull this off, but fundamentally we do need goals and I can't see where that's coming from, even with our new defensive minded 4-3-3 (4-5-1)

Just talked to my mate at Hudds........fans are livid up there with Grella and Ritchie being dragged off. Game is for the taking............dicked them second half.
His words...not mine.
Did text him this morning to wish him well, and not to get too pissed

Just reading back and I agree with what a lot that has been said. No doubt the damage was done in the previous 2 home games (and perhaps the previous 22 games before that).
But talk of us not having any chance of winning today is a bit far-fetched. Huddersfield played some nice football in the first-half at times, but in the 2nd half they were there for the taking. They actually remind me a lot of us last season, played nice football but struggled against teams at home that played narrow and negatively.
Amankwaah and Rose substitutions were spot-on in my opinion as Caddis could go further forward and he was our biggest threat I felt. Rose also slotted in nicely, but we wasted a substitution by bringing Lesc on. Sheehan was miffed which meant he wasn't really tired and the spare pair of legs was much needed up front.
