On work rate alone, Ritchie wins hands down for me.

Caddis is definitely up there though but agree with those who'd rather have him on the wing.

Only him and Ritchie really deserve any praise over the last few months.

Been brilliant recently.

Think he had his best game for us at Bournemouth away, was unplayable at times and took his goal very well. Even yesterday he was one of our most attacking players andf he was at right back!

Cant see this at all. Totally ineffective.

He was like a fart in the wind for the Walsall players yesterday at some points, shrugged off the ball. He also shanked a cross into the Town End under no pressure at all.

I think he's got the skills, nice goal at Bmuff, but looks totally out of place in L1. Amankwaah was/is far more effective. Less skillful but much fitter, much stronger. When we were playing away last season did you notice how many times Amankwaah would wind the home fans right up? Thats because he was winning good hard challenges at both ends of the pitch.

Hopefully we'll get some money back on Caddis, but I doubt it, needs to go.

I think that's harsh. I'd say he either needs to improve defensively or get moved to a more attacking role. Don't see any need to get rid though - there's promise there, it just needs to be brought out.

Our crossing in the last few games has been crap, not just Caddis. At least he genuinely tries to get to the byline. I agree he's more of a right midfielder / winger than full back.

Agreed, One of the few who has earned their keep this season...

He'll get battered in League 2. Rose is too weak as well.

He played in the middle as a playmaker at one point earlier in the season (Plymouth?) and I thought he did very well (others didnt). If the board plan not to reinvest in the team for next season then we could do a lot worse than having him in a hole in the middle.

But as a full back, no way. Weak full backs has been a major problem this season. To not acknowledge that because we paid money for Caddis is to be in denial.

Oh yeah he's not been sparkling all season but I wouldn't write him off completely.

I have to disagree completely. Defensively he has done well, he doesn't dive in but picks of tackles- his timing in the tackle is excellent. He is quick and has good acceleration over a short distance, he gets forward well and takes on his man. His crossing hasn't been as bad as you make out.

He has got a couple of mom's recently because he is a busy player who covers alot of ground IMO. Amankwah was used at the start of the season but was dropped because his form was terrible. Last year jpm and ka had a great link up, however both have looked of form this.

Yes he is small and his physicality gets tested but his positional sense and timing makes up for it.

Totally ineffective? Against plymouth On Tuesday watch how many times he beats his man while attacking and how many times he makes clean tackles at the other end. He's not going to win aerial battles or out muscle big frontmen but that's not his game....

How many times have we scored from his crossing then?

He cant take a shoulder charge and other players shrug him off.

Yes, he can time a challenge. Nice goal at Bournemouth.

Hes a typical example of why this season has been such a struggle. No point kidding ourselves. I dont want to see him at full back next season, and thats the last Im going to say on it.

This final paragraph sums up exactly why he should be used on the right of midfield and not at right back.

No a typical example of why this season has been rubbish is losing our 3 top scorers from last year in bp dw and ca then selling our captain and having too many players off form.

Stephen darby was no stronger than caddis but had an excellent stint at the end of last season for the same reasons caddis is doing well this season.

We having a poor season for sure but caddis along with matt ritchie have been my personal highlights.

I didnt rate Darby that highly either. Nice penalty though.

Sheehan and Amankwaah last season were quality.

Yes penalty was ace.

Sheehan and manks were good last year but both have performed well below that standard when they've played this year.

Darbys debut in the 1-0 win at Southampton started an excellent run of form in which he featured in the following 10 or so games... I thought he was solid but footballs about opinions so fair enough.. I can see I won't convince you!

I'm still some what surprised we havent tried Amankwaah at right back and Caddis right midfield more often.

Caddis to me looks like an old fashion winger, ball down the line, run, cross.
