It's going to be like walking in a diarrhea blizzard. With your mouth open.
It will also provide eugenics fans with years of supporting evidence.

To be fair, the first few comments have been quite measured.

Some interesting views from the Palace Forums on his appointment.....

Quote
Good luck to him, did a great job here.
Reckon it is a decent appointment, certainly better than some of the names mentioned!

Quote
Good luck Paul. Good man.

Good luck to him. Will always be incredibly thankful to him,for stepping into the breach, after colin had stopped trying and finally bottled completely.

Quote
Great man. Will always be remembered fondly.

Quote
Good luck Paul. I shall be looking out for Swindons results now.

Quote
quietly efficient, did a great job and kept his focus on the football stuff when everything was falling apart around him. Hope he does well.

Quote
Good news, I wish old afrohead well, hope he keeps them up.

Great manager!! I really hope he does well there, he deserves every success he gets.

Quote
Good luck to a very decent football man

Quote
i LOVE Paul Hart. He'll keep them up

Quote
Good luck. Seemed a very good guy with a lot of dignity.
AND kept us up.

Have a lot of respect for him.

Will be interesting to see how he does. Personally i do not think he will keep them up. I was not as impressed as most with the job he did with us last year and think we stayed up despite him not because of him.

Swindon were up towards the play-offs and critically sold off a few of their best players and their season, like Plymouths has taken a nose-dive. Hart is a well respected coach but i woud question whether he is a good manager.

He has exactly 2 weeks to make any changes to teh squad in terms of loans which may be crucial. I wish him luck but think he may well need too much of it.

Ironically they will probably benefit by Plymouth not completing the season, which may be their best chance of survival.

Quote
Love Paul. Good luck, hope he takes them up next season and we can thank him for saving us last year

Quote
All the Best at Ser-win-den Paul.

A good man who is good enough to be in management. Did his job here really well.

Will be looking out for Swindon's results now and wishing them well.

Quote
He was employed to keep us up and we stayed up.

Some people, and i am one, believe that we would have stayed up anyway, and that Hart did not perform any 'miricles' in keeping us up as some would believe. I do not think he has as good a squad at Swindon in League 1 as he had with us last season. i think he will fail to keep them up - time will tell.

Not sure if people are aware but Paul Hart's son is Matt Ritchies agent.

Everyone knows the truth behind this appointment; Paul Hart's Auntie Mabel is married to Dave Hockaday.

Nothing to lose in appointing someone now as, like most I know who follow STFC, I've already resigned myself to relegation. If Hart keeps us up then fair play and we can then go and recruit/rebuild in the summer under a new "proven" manager - maybe Malpas fancies coming back....

Some reassuring comments there from Palace fans, seems like a decent bloke who takes on jobs where he's pissing in the wind from the start and more often than not delivers.
His managerial record, on paper, doesn't read well, But who knows, it could work out well for us and for him.

Whatever our own personal preferences might have been, it's time to show some unity of purpose
and from now until the end of season, let's get behind the club, manager and players.

Come on you Reds!
