Any appointment would have to be external.

It's all hypothetical anyhow.
Why?

And since when were discussions on here anything but hypothetical?

Not Bodin specifically, just anyone who isn't Wilson really...

I must have Bodin on the brain thanks to NorwayRed

Was a good player, doing a good job at youth level but not sure as 1st team manager.

Look what happened when Iffy took over.

Look what is happening with Wilson in charge at the moment.

Okay, Bodin was a bad suggestion. But right now I think anyone could do a better job, hell, I'd even back DV for the job.

Why?

You think the majority would be happy if Shirtliff or Bodin took over?

For me, an internal appointment within our scenario is the ultimate indicator of a club resigned to League Two.

I write this fully aware that we're "down anyway so blah blah blah"....

DV would do a good job. He could get his race to 52 thread projected on the changing room wall and everything!

What about it DV?

Possibly Bodin might have more idea about how to defend than Shirtliff seems to have. Probably wouldn't make any difference though.

If I were in Wilson's shoes i'd have had it on the changing room wall since November, including current form, remaining fixtures and a projected final table.

I also like to think Wilson has already stolen in

Its a better effort that his stupid board anyway!

Yes.

I'd be happy if they replaced Danny Wilson with a Honey Badger.

DV would need an experienced man alongside him, I know what about Reg? He could tell them how they've been the most inadequate Swindon team at this level for 50 years.

Considering Shirtliff was a defender himself you'd think he'd know a thing or two...

Anyway it's not as simple as bad defensive coaching. The whole fucking team is fucked

It'd get a bit of fight into the team...

not long back...now I don't wanna be negative BUT....when wilson threw the towel in at 3-1 by taking ritchie off, I felt like leaving there and then after shelling out 24notes to get in...even heard him say the game was dead at 3-1(despite there being still half hour left) in his post match interview on the A34...so if thats the attitude thats comin across from the manager, its no fucking wonder we aint cutting it on the pitch...that is all
