Some of them are having a go saying that Danny had a ready made excuse,taken from the Adver article. The manager agreed with referee David Coote's decision to call the game off. He said: "You don't want to be losing a game and then blaming the pitch later on." Fortunately,some more enlightened people have since slapped them down. |

Exeter have issued a club statement:
After this evening's disappointment of losing another game to the weather the club would like to apologise to any of our own fans and those travelling from Swindon that may have been inconvenienced by the late postponement.
In light of this situation the club board, having further considered the condition and performance of the pitch, has decided to seek further technical assistance and legal advice.
Further information will be released as and when the club is able to do so.
If I hadn't landed a new job I'd offer my services... |
