Wilson brands this season as unluckiest of career

THE 2010/11 League One campaign is officially the unluckiest of Danny Wilson’s managerial career, in the eyes of the Swindon Town boss.

We've certainly not had the rub of the green this year but I think there's a bit more to it than that. Sure this is not what a lot of fans will want to hear.

Feel pretty sorry for Wilson he's really backed into a corner at the moment.

Consistently conceding goals in the last 10 minutes of games cannot be due to bad luck.

I don't want to turn into an apologist for Danny Wilson, as we have all sat through some really dire performances this season, but in one sense I think he is right - more dodgy ref's decisions have gone against us than for us, and every single mistake seems to get punished with a goal.

IF we had a little more this season in terms of luck, we could easily have another 9 or 10 points on the board.

Luck or not, he ought to take some of the responsibility for the shite performances and results which he flat out refuses to do.

And it doesn't help with players making basic errors. A common trait this season amongst the team.

He's just recently conceded that he could've been sacked months ago...

No no no Danny, luck evens itself out of a course of a season.  We only remember the decisions/incidents we have been on the receiving end of, things that have gone our way are easily forgotten.

He does increasingly resemble a desperately drowning man. And one who gets a lifebelt thrown to him, only for it to hit him cleanly in the temple, knocking him out cold

Or over two seasons?

Maybe the bad luck this season is payback for all the luck last season? Average the two seasons out and you're mid table.

I think it shows a lot of bottle to keep doing these interviews.

Fact is, things will be terrible for him until we get a win. People will jump on his words and ram them back down his throat.

Many would say this has been the luckiest of his career.............the board and the majority of fans have been very loyal in my opinion.
