Over 200 Swindon appearances means he must be listened to.
Good to see someone stick it to them too.

Heh! heh! Fair play to Summerbee. Makes a change from the usual bland shit you hear. I wonder if he's as passionate about Swindon as he is Man City

In the early sixties Summerbee and Ernie Hunt were grave diggers at Christchurch in the summer months to earn extra dosh.....players in those days were on less money at the seasons break.

My granddad was mates with Summerbee back in the day. Used to get him complimentary tickets to watch Man City.

Premiershite but none the less:
Premiershite is seen by many to be a tasteless joke on here. Not by me may I hasten to add. If Town were in the premiershite I would watch them but I don't go out of my way to watch an organisation that as ruined the game I love. Namby Pamby overpaid prima donas playing for brands not clubs.

I didnt watch the game yesterday, so couldnt tell you who dominated but I wouldn't say he lost it. It was nice to see Summerbee challenge the edited highlights. You may as well do away with the analysis if everyone agrees with each other.

Amazing. I remember watching 'six days til Saturday' and Summerbee and Hunt were playing football with the kids in one of the old terraced streets in Swindon. Fantastic stuff.

That was a great programme, directed by Charlie Boorman's (him of Ewan McGregor round the world on motorbike fame) dad, the famous film director. By 'losing it', I meant it in a good way, prepared to shake things up with that tired, chummy post-match Sky format.

Some people just got that habit.
