No return for Ward

DANNY Ward will not be returning to Swindon Town, and Robins boss Danny Wilson is desperate for the speculation surrounding the Bolton youngster to stop
as he looks to lead his current crop of players to safety.

We have the sane amongst us? How did they sneak in? We should hunt them down and kill them

reading the next paragraph Wilson says points make prizes not games in hand - what does he think - all the surrounding clubs are going to lose all the spare games  they have ?? Get real Wilson - we're in the shite - Even though you still think we can make the play offs.    Time to go Wilson - back to the looney bin !!!

Yes it looked as though we were needing to go to Stoke and come away with something to survive but Rovers nicely lost all 3 games in hand so we were safe - good job too as we were 4-0 down in 30 minutes - if I recall correctly Antoine vd Linden was subbed then and hung around the sidelines clearly pissed off and left the club after that.

The City fans hung up "Congratulations for relegating Rovers" signs somewhere on the way to Stoke.

What killed Rovers was a combination of fixture congestions and a soggy knackered pitch.

Yes I remember them losing at home to Wycombe in midweek meaning Invinicible's late goal againt Posh was enough to keep us up. I think we then just went to Stoke not giving a shit.

Think Rovers only had 2 games in hand, which they lost, they won their final game, made no difference.

What should be remembered from that season is that King went into relegation mode football fairly early on, and we just stayed up.....this side doesn't appear capable of doing so.

Also the Scum threw in 6 at the Mem, hoping it might relegate us, as they were already doomed.

This was one of Andy King's finest moments. Rovers were playing teams that were safe mid table and he was saying they should play for their pride etc and that their performances could dictate who went down. They did their job. We then went to Stoke who were in with a chance of the play offs and playedl ike cunts thereby dictating the outcome at the top of the table. Hypocritical or what.

I even remember their fans turning up and actually supporting Rovers because they were already down.

Let us ignore the fact that it's been Wilson and Fitton who have actually been banging on about bringing in Ward since fucking August.

Fitton did most of the talking RE: Ward though.
