Great. What happens if our remaining leftbacks get injured?

This will come back to haunt us, we should be strengthening the squad in this area, not weakening it.

Left backs are special to me....along with the right back....they provided me with some consistency in life.

Let me explain except goalkeeper, just about every other position has changed its name since I've been going...no more wing-halfs, inside forwards or right wingers...no it's a fucking right sided midfield player.

It was 20 years of John Trollope, with a smattering of Andy Ford in the latter years, followed by local lad Kevin Baddeley, whose name described how he played, but he was a Swindon boy, who'd returned from Shitty, so it didn't matter too much.

Then little Nicky Coleman under Macari, only on loan, but turned our season with his penalty expertise, shame his time got cut short by injury.  Paul Roberts, not really a left back, but could kick people. Still struggling for a replacement...stick Dave Hockaday there, good lad.

Then Zippy...wand footed Welshman.  Since Zippy went, the position has mirrored our fortunes, that cunt McMahon shelled 350K on Jason Drysdale, and it's been downhill since.

I briefly held hopes for Nicho, but a penchant for the bottle got the better of him.

PS just don't mention David Peach

Leave Badders alone Cheesy

Went to school with him and remember then City manager Alan Dicks turning up in Ruskin Avenue to sign him as a lad.
Played around a hundred matches for the Town suprisingly...spoke to him a few months back and he was a postie for a good few years, but think he is working in Spain now.

Big lad he was and once he tackled me at school...think i still got the bruising.

And mine.  I know Kev and his wife Fran well.  We met up with them when we were on holiday in Tenerife a few years ago and saw them when they were back for a wedding in Swindon last year.

They've got a good little business going out in Tenerife now.

Good point  Smiley  Tell them Jo and Todd say hi and we're thinking of going back to Tenerife this year, so will give them a buzz if we do.
