From the adver:

PAUL Caddis believes Town’s recent poor League One form is down to “a lack of desire”.

Surely it is both the players and the managers responsibility to avoid this! If you got "a lack of desire" at this level, so take the consequenses. Resign or move to the BS!

That has been very evident for a long time - there is a problem within the dressing room and needs sorting out fast!

I'm sorry but if you lack ''desire'' as a professional footballer you shouldn't be anywhere near this job.

Desire comes from within. Nobody can give you desire.

Pathetic.

I think most of them are severely lacking in midi-chlorians.

Although I am sure that several of them actually do have an excess of micro organisms!

The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the dressing room it had no desire......

Most brutal and honest reflection from a player thus far, especially the outro.

Can't agree with any of that Panda. Weirdly, I don't think "lack of desire" has been a problem in most of the games I've seen this season and I haven't seen any evidence that the players don't want to play together, for themselves of for Wilson.

It's got everything to do with ability. If we had more shots than the other team at Brisbane Road but didn't score, it's because the players are crap at shooting, not cause they're not trying hard enough. If we concede stupid goals at the back it's usually down to technical inability and loss of concentration, not that we don't "want it" more than the other lot. Or even bad fucking luck.

Caddis's assumption that they're all fantastic footballers who have all the basic skills but just need to try a bit harder, is scary if that's what he really believes. Most of them are average journeyman footballers who if they weren't at Swindon would be at another D1 or D2 side.

Don't know what my conclusion from all that is, though...

What a stupid fucking article, yeah we all know its true but he's basically just come out and said yeah we arent trying hard enough.

Well shut the fuck up and try harder then you bunch of pricks.

I saw the headline and actually read the article to see if the 'lack of desire' was indeed a direct quote from Caddis, and it was it.

I know the club have to give the adver a certain amount of material each day but the articles and just getting worse and more depressing.

At least he didnt mention the fucking play offs.
