Just watched some of their goals on STFC World - they are going to make us smile next season.

Thorpe has good quick feet, and looks a very assured finisher, while Cureton just looks class.

Expect a shed load - so long as we get a decent midfield.

I can't believe we've picked up two well known goalscorers, I know they've not scored a lot of goals in the last season or so but they both have some pedigree at Lge 1 level, wicked signings!

a decent central midfielder and we've got ourselves a team again, right excited I am!

Very pleased with yesterdays progress.

Cureton's goalscoring record looks very good, showing that he is more than capable of scoring 20+ goals a season at this level, although he may be a bit rusty after a couple of seasons on the sidelines at Loftus. However, i'm confident that he is a worthy of filling SSP's boots this season.

Thorpe has got journeyman written all over him, could give useful experience to the likes of Caton and Fallon. Decent goalscoring record as well, so a strike partnership to salivate over Tongue

Got a feeling that it could be the end of the road for Mr Fallon though, if not immediately, then before Christmas. Unfortunately, i don't think we have the resources to have 5 strikers on the books.

Don't know too much about Smith, checked him out on FM2005, stats are pretty good and he plays at right back, which could be an indication that Jenks will be in midfield for the main part next year. Not necessarily a bad move. Certainly, he is a decent young prospect at 21 years old.

Good work Kingy Cheesy ..........just need a midfield now! :?

Apparently Cureton's deal is two years, so at least we can afford for him to score a shed load, cause he'll still be here another season, and wont do a Mooney.

Get Cureton signed up as well (I see he was offered 2 years) and we'll be laughing. as long as we get a midfielder too

One of the articles on the Adver site suggests a deal hasn't been done for the boy Smith.
