How do you tell if your processor is a "sandy bridge" one?

It's not your processor its the chipset. Google a programme called Everest 2.20

Sandy Bridge is a socket 1155 processor and thats only been out about 2 months so if your lappy or pc is older than 2 months there is definately nothing to be concerned by.
Shame as its a fantastic chip and great overclocker, hope its sorted quickly.

Thanks for the info JJ, a little bit beyond my techy knowledge! Got my lappie just a couple of weeks ago hence my initial concern but its got a relatively low spec Pentium T4500 processor so imagine it'll be fine.
