Ah, the age-old dilemma

Hodgson is being heavily linked with it. What about Jol, ex baggie and all that?

Ronnie Moore been given the boot by Rotherham.
Bet the Adver wishes he had been our manager - imagine the headlines they could have used involving Moore.

And Gannon yesterday at Port Vale - both teams in and around the play-offs but who've had a dissapointing run recently. It's sacktastic in the League 2 promotion race right now!

Wasn't he first choice before Wilson was appointed?

Yep...I was told he was coming, then Newcastle wanted compensation, so that scuppered it.  Of course Money is now available, if Fitton is still interested....he did win Div 4 last time.

I'd be much more optimistic with him in charge than Hart or Trollope.

Made a bit of a pig's ear of the Conference...which given the fact that the scum managed to get up instead, leaves a big ?

Wiki has Money winning 43% of this games while Trollope has 37%, Hart 30%.

Don't believe Money is any better than Wilson but got to be better than Trollope or Hart surely?

In most cases all you can do is suck it and see....it's a distinctly inexact science, I'm sure whoever gets the job next season will get 4 or 5 games to hit the ground running before the fan's knives are sharpened.

Hart is someone who has been fairly mediocre at a higher level, Money and Trollope have only had success in L2. Difficult to compare.

I remember when the club wanted Money and the deal was scuppered, we got Danny Wilson instead, which I was delighted with. I suppose circumstances are different now because next season we will be a 4th division club.

Andy King always seemed like a nasty little cunt playing at being a football manager. I can't imagine him getting on with Fitton, but I'd fucking take him getting us out of L2/div4/thebasementofdeath/whateveryouwanttocallit
