I'd love to see Fallon back here. He was never the greatest goalscorer, but was great at holding the ball up and winning it in the air.

If he is fit, he is an absolute hand full to play against.

He scored nearly 1 in 2 in 2005/2006 season.  That was a very decent return.  15 odd goals I think.

I'd definitely take him back.  Decent in the air, reasonable on the deck, the right side of 30.  A mobile, slimmed down Pericard.

When I saw todays article about players who were worth £100k, but they were asking for £300k, I did think, oh no that sounds like Benyon straight away.

He looks a good poacher to me, and simmilar in some ways to Austin. Now we could do with a taller athletic type up front to go with him. I would go for Rotherhams Ryan Taylor, the ginger lad who put in a great shift for Exeter at home last season.

A Torquay fan just said this on their forum:-

"It seems that swindon have other targets and benners is quite low down the list otherwise this would have been done and dusted."

We wouldn't pay anywhere near £300,000, £125,000 at the most, He's only got 6 months left on his contract so they've got no chance of getting £300,000, It would be £100,000-£125,000 at the very most!

Thought he looked good in the play-off final for Rotherham too, though not sure how he's done this season.

He scored twice on saturday, he's 22 and out of contract in the summer.

Granted he has not scored enough, but he's played a remarkable amount of first team football for a young lad.

He made his debut against us way back in 2005, a game in which Fallon scored off his arse and we won 1-0. I drove up with 4 of us in the car, it was a classic relegation battle win of its kind. Ace. Probably the last time we'll ever play at Millmoor as well.

Surprised Fallon is only 28, it seems like he's been around forever.

Is this a done deal then ? I can't find anything official just talk from various sites which have known to be wrong in the past.

Brilliant shout. Was excellent here last here like you said, and I saw him a couple more times last year and this, and he has been a handful everytime. Work rate, strength and a real nuisance factor, perfect for a nippy little poacher to play alongside and good value for money
