Seeing as it seems that Poole will be getting 15% of the fee for Austin its got to be great news for them.

Around about £200,000 in total i should imagine.......will keep them going for a while.

Nice to see a small club get the money rather than say Reading(after Cox)........

Wonder if Alfreton have a clause on Flint?

Absolute 100% certainty I would have said.

Hypothetical question.  Let's say we have negotiated a 20% sell on clause with Burnley, and that Austin moves to Sunderland in 3 years' time for £7m or £8m.  (I said hypothetical!)  We would get something like 20% of Burnley's profit...so would Poole then get 20% of our 20%?

I would suggest not but each individual contract is different so who knows

Doubt very much if that would be the case

That would be highly irregular so I am 100% certain it would never happen.

Until they get a new ground they'll continue to be denied promotion to the Southern League from the Wessex League. Had application after application to relocate refused but seem confident in their latest bid. Hope this cash stimules gives them added impetus in achieving that.

Latest: Poole 1-0 Christchurch

Christchurch pulled off one of the greatest Wessex League comebacks of all time when they trailed 5-0 at Tatnam in August only to storm back and grab a 5-5 draw.

From The Echo

"Any amount the Tatnam club had already received from the Robins, however, is expected to be subtracted from their cut."
