I'm going for a repeat of what I predicted on Tuesday, a scrappy 1-0 win. Probably the winning goal coming from a set piece. At least if we get a penalty that useless dick Austin won't be taking it!

Hooray! If we don't win, can we all hunt you down and poke you with sharpened pencils?

Today could shape the rest of the season.  We've not got enough points against the sides around us, and our talisman didn't score.  After his departure, this will dramatically effect the mood.  It's disappointing we haven't got a striker in straight away as I'm not confident with any of our forwards up front of ever scoring, and I'm not sure Wilson is either.  I'm surprised we didn't at least get an emergency loan - Wilson will have had his targets lined up for months.

I think the best option is to play Pericard up front on his own, with Richie and McGovern/Prutton supporting wide.  A 4-5-1 of sorts, but with a very attacking shape.  I'm still hopefully Pericard can kick on - perhaps the bricklayer's departure will be the catalyst.  Afterall, Rory Fallon didn't burst onto the scene until he was released from Sam Parkin's shadow...

I'd keep Dossevi in reserve, just in case we're short on stewards...

Scrape a 1-0 I reckon. Ritchie to score.

On a side note, I wonder who'll be taking penalties from now on?

I'm going for a 2-0 Town win today, with a much improved performance. Personally i think that even though we've lost our star man, this will improve the performance as there is no longer all of that uncertainty of will he, won't he within the squad. Whoever plays up top today, Pericard (if fit) or Dossevi has a massive chance now to really stake their claim for a regular starting spot. I won't pretend that either has been anywhere near good enough this season, because they haven't, but if they treat today as a new start, post Austin, one or both of them have a real chance to save their Town careers as there is now no star man, or recognised leading striker at the club. I just hope one of them takes the chance and bags a couple today! We all remember the Fjortoft situation, at the time we were all wondering 'who is this joker who the club has spent decent money on?', and to my knowledge he was only a week or two from leaving. One simple goal at Ipswich and the rest is history, legend!! I really believe that Doss has more to give, i just hope that it's today.

Rose would probably be top shout for penalty taker. If we get one today I reckon Dossevi will take it.

Can't go today unfortunately but I had the dream that Dougie capped off a scintilating team display with an absolute cannon. With the dross that I've seen this season, it's almost a certainty that we'll win because I wont be there to enjoy it.

Ritchie and Dossevi up front with O'Brien and McGovern on the wings? Could work.
