There seemed to be a similar feeling in the stands as well. I enjoyed todays game more than I've enjoyed a match for a long time. I even thought the ref did ok.
Totally agree. I thuoght the fans got behind the team quite well. I was surprised by how many Exeter there were - good support for them. The ref was definitely one of the better ones.
For once, I'm in a pretty good mood.

I quite like Exeter as a club and they play good football.  Wish we'd stuffed them but they're a club I dont mind.

And I didnt mention the ref.  He must have been amazing.

I quite enjoyed that today, I'm feeling semi-confident that we can play our way out of this mess, a new Striker over the weekend and I've got a feeling that things will click once more.

Not sure about Amankwaah, he lost his man on too many occasions, but it was pleasing to see him bombing forward. Timlin looked good again, but seemed to want to self destruct towards the end with some wayward passing!

Timlin's performance showed to me why he won't ever be a regular here. Really good supporting Dougie for 65 mins, then played as if he'd never seen a football before for the next 25 mins.

That she does. I applaud her for keeping her back to The Town End for the majority of that today. I wonder if she took the chants well.

she looked happy enough. She was sitting quite close to us for most of the match, but kept disappearing off into the lounge - presumably to warm up.
I am sure she was ready for the chants - she was smiling when she came back from the penalty taking bit. And plenty of people near us were yelling about tucking them in during the game and she didnt react at all.

If we sign a decent striker or two (yeah, I know, a big ask) and continue to play the same way as we did today, we will easily stay up.

On another day we would've won 3-0. Exeter offered absolutely nothing.

I think Tisdale said to their players before the game 'hey lads, Swindon are 20th, if we want to be getting in the play offs we need 3 points today'. And instead of getting up for it, the Exeter players totally bottled it today. Exeter were shit. Special word to their fans as well who were fucking dire! 5/10 for numbers, 2/10 for actual vocal support.

They buckled under the pressure of being favourites to win away big time.

Weve dug in. Very positive. I always think clean sheets keep you up when perhaps you dont deserve it (2000/01 being the best example). We had a determined, commited and focussed performance today that kept us in with a shout of 3 points right up until the the FT whistle. Well done lads.

Chatted to an exeter fan who said it was one of the worse performances they've put out.

Shame we can't score.

We lost 1-3 to a team that beat Walsall 6-1 yesterday as well, so what is new?
