Can't see it. As much as I loved Ossie, he's had no involvement over here for years and would have no idea about League one.

Much as I love Ardiles (Ossie, not the TEF poster who I merely quite like) I can't see it coming off a second time for him.

Oooh, great minds Sutton. Yours is obviously somewhat greater at this time of morning.

You may wish to damn me with faint praise (Wink)...but you have to agree I'd have the best user name on here by far.

First news we'll get today will be Andrew Fitton rubbishing any sort of news. If he doesn't then Wilson's a goner!

Old players (or managers) returning to old clubs never really works. He has been linked with other lower league clubs recently but can't see this happening in a million years.

Sean Morrison - "star defender"?
I'd love to see Ossie back, but it won't happen

Liked Ossie as a bloke but as a manager he was in over his depth, yes he had one great season when we played some great flowing football with us but was somewhat tactically inept at times.

Also lost the respect of most of the players and all the higher management.

No thank you.

Ardilles ?? 1 epic season after inheriting a fit organised team and teaching them to play football followed by 1/2 a clueless, unfit, disorganised season and then his pisses off as he has run out of ideas.

You really want him back ?? Ossie Bad-deals more like. John Buttigieg anyone ?

If Danny Wilson is sacked and Ossie Ardiles is appointed I honestly wouldn't know what the board are trying to do.

It would be a ridiculous decision.

I'd rather have Hoddle back, which won't happen either.
