Holloway was complaining last week about the combined £4m Peterborough wanted for Boyd & Mackail-Smith. Can't see him being any more impressed by our £2m+ valuation of Charlie

This is in today's Sun and yesterday in the NOW it said that Howe @ Burnley needed to sell one of his strikers (can't remember who) to fund a £1.5m bid for Austin
Charlie will still be here next Tues I predict

£1.5 million up front is realistic. Plus Add-ons would make it a good deal in my opinion.

Can't we just do a straight swap; Adams for Austin? We'd save money on not having to get new training gear or tracksuits for him.

i think this too. there will undoubtibly be a silly sell on clause etc too. but 1.5m hard cash up front will help get a few players in

Sorry to be an annoying cock (and chubbs did this as well), but its Charlie Adam, not Adams. Just to point out, Chubbs called him adams, and wasn't being an annoying cock.

Fuck off, I meant it as plural. They get Austin and we get Charlie Adam and Adam Dodd.

I did post about Austin having a medical at Southampton.
Your chairman blocked it as Blackpool have put in a better bid for him. So it must appear he'll now probably go up north. Just depends if anyone else offers more than Blackpool.
