Bleugh. Wilson in for now, although this is all starting to get very worrying. I'd give him until the end of February, see who he brings in/sends out and how this affects the team. He seems to work quite closely with Fitton over transfer targets, so just getting another manager in won't improve things imo.

I'll be there to witness the dross myself on Tuesday. Perhaps my point of view will change after seeing it first hand!

A crisis no doubt....my worry is that a knee jerk...will leave us worse off. Danny got us in this mess, he can get us out.

Agree with everything except for the second volley of full-stops...

How can he if the players don't seem interesting in playing for him?

I think these last 2 games prove he's lost the dressing room, If there's no fight against 2 teams in the relegation zone what hope is there? Until he goes i don't think things will improve.

He wont be fired by Fitton. I dont see how changing him and rebuilding again will do us any good. We're only a couple of players off, CB and SC with some experience and potentially a keeper and the side looks good again and i'm sure it will turn around.

My concern is Fitton seems to insist on just buying young players, fingers crossed for something different next week.

Couple of wins and its mid table again.

I don't think it's as simple as that. Most of these players were happy enough to perform last season. Plenty of them are out of contract soon, if they don't want to end up on the footballing scrap heap, they'll sort themselves out pronto.

I honestly feel that if we could sort out the back 5, the rest would follow.

Your optimism is good, but we've been a couple of players off since the start of the fucking season and now 3 weeks into the transfer window of January, they've still haven't been brought in.

A couple of wins will only improve our position if teams above us lose and we've been saying it will turn around for months now.  It hasn't and it's getting gradually worse.

I didn't think I'd ever find myself agreeing with you, but the evidence indicates that he may have lost large portions of the dressing-room. Where you and I part is that I blame the spineless players when they do this. I get sick of players who mentally bail out when the going gets tough and think it'll all be better if they can get their manager sacked. If they are doing that, I hope they'll be playing in League Two with or without us next year. Pathetic.

I sort of agree with you...alas we had two decent defenders in Greer and Morrison.

Seems half a million pound for the pair was more important.

Its not that simple though.....other teams would die for some of the players we have.

I have to concede this down to management .
