Wow 16 posts in and no one's said it...  pretty decent on FM!

Wouldn't be too unhappy with this signing, although width isn't really a priority at the moment....  maybe a replacement for Ball(ocks)?

I thought we would look at players that would not be out of place in the lower reaches of the championship, sounds a bit of a starnge signing but Wilson must know what he's looking for

That should sum up our transfer policy in one, along with buying players who will only grow in value. I'm sure both Fitton and Wilson have stated this before.

This does not seem to be a Fitton/Wilson signing at all and, therefore, I smell bullshit (hopefully)

Exactly. if he was early twenties then I could understand it. But he's 27 in a month. Doesn't seem to fit any of our transfer policies.

Not sure what Small offers that Mark Marshall or Macklin didn't offer.

Why would it be bullshit if BBC Radio Wiltshire reported in their sports Bulletin today?  Admittedly they've been wrong on occasions but they must of got their info from somewhere

I wouldn't have thought Marvin Morgan could cut it at League 1 level. Scored 16 in his best season in L2. Big and gangly and did score a beaut against us earlier this season (30 yards, in off the post), but he's unlikely to be a consistent scorer in L1 if his past form is anything to go by.

Seems like a bit of a bits and pieces player who Wilson knows and understands what he can offer: a very different style of winger to JPM, but I can't see why we'd be looking to pay money for him, unless there's a fee on the table for JPM and it's bigger.

Sounds good enough can play both wings and upfront we already have a team of first teamers and the only one whos a natural right midfielder/winger is jpm who could be on his way.

Sounds good enough

Based on what? I'm not one for running down lads before they've had a chance but looking at his recent transfer activity it seems most clubs would deem him not good enough for this level, not the top of L2, hence his release from Chesterfield and subsequent signing for one of the smaller paying clubs in L2.

Isn't he a bit of a Mark Marshall? I.E. Pace to burn, a bit of skill, but not a lot else for a team whose prospects are to be a Championship side? I could be (and am most likely) wrong!

Do I remember Wade Small scoring against us for MKD a few years back at that hockey ground, Daisy Duke was erm muscled off the ball by Wade, well more inexplicably fell over , and he went on and slotted....or I might be thinking of someone else.
