Sounds like we are very close to signing Aldershot striker Wade Small - must be the replacement for Charlie Austin?  BBC Wilts believe fee to be in region on £40k.

Anyone know if he's any good?  I've checked & he's scored a few goals lately, but hasn't done much previously.

Just had a look on their forums & can't see any mention of this yet, but seems like breaking news according to BBC Wilts.  I would rather we signed Morgan from them to be honest, although their fans seem to really hate him now! soapy tit wank.  They've also got rid of a young striker to Wimbledon.  Mass clear out there then!!!

Didn't Small play for Wilson at MK?

That sounds like reinforcement signing to me.

I'm thinking we might play him on the wings. He's a small player if I remember correctly. I think he played for Wednesday and prior to that Franchise, I'll check that up.

From memory - he's usually a wide man isn't he? I think he's as a bit um... small to lead the line. Unless I'm thinking of someone else.

Wade small started his career at Wimbledon F.C academy and made his first team debut in 1-0 defeat against Coventry in October 2003. In the 115 games Small played he spent most of his time as a midfielder but has been known to play as a striker.

If he is a striker it would be unlikely Aldershot would want to sell, considering theyve got to get rid of Marvin 'I will kill you' Andrews?

Wilson did say a few days ago that this is the type of signing we have to expect. Experienced lower-league players. Nothing wrong with that, but this signing doesn't pull up any trees.

One important point. He was available on a free in the summer after being released by Chesterfield, and went to Aldershot. If we pay cash for him it will be terrible business I reckon

A decent squad player maybe?  Looks like everyone wants out down there, any promising youngsters available??

Mainly a Right Midfielder, looks like a signing to give JPM a kick up the backside or it could mean JPM on his way out.
