Evening all!

Anyone at the Samsung trial thingy? Do we know if there are any worldy players out there? I think they're taking five from tonight's game to train with the first team for a week, and then we'll announce one winner, but then may take up to three on if rumours of there being some exceptional talent are true.

Any more info would be cool, especially from those at the game tonight.

Standard wasn't great. The problem with these kind of things is that the players try too hard to impress and therefore make the wrong decisions.

A couple of the full backs looked handy, mostly cos they kept it simple and made the right decisions more often than not. A couple of CMs no doubt had talent but gave the ball away by trying too much. Even CBs were trying to take people on (must be watching Sean Morrison too much). Did like the look of the White's number 7 mind.

Overall, no one was amazing, but some decent players. Make no mistake, there's no decisions being made on tonight, it's all about getting the best couple of people into a more professional environment and with more time to relax and play their natural game.

I thought there was one stand out player, the Blues no. 7, Tyler Campbell,  who scored 2 and set up another. Reminds me a bit of JPM.

...agree about blue 7.  I was just thinking he was the most impressive so far when he lunged in his first goal.

Not a bad game - agree with previous posts , Tyler Campbell the Blue Team's no 7 looked handy , as did Antonio Gonella the White Team's right back who is described on the Team Sheet as a "Utility Player ".

Good to see Rory Fallon get a game as well ! ( the White Team's number 11 - from Altrincham , not New Zealand)

Radio spoke to the local lad tonight, George (didnt catch his surname!) who is one of 3 selected to train with the first team for a week, other 2 names are Jordan and Tyler (Campbell??).
Apart from Tyler, anyone know the colour/number shirts these lads were wearing last nite ??

George Nash, from Chippenham, was wearing blue 2.
The only Jordan was Jordan Pavett, who was wearing blue 10.

I'm guessing the blues won the game quite well, if all 3 are from the same team?

5-1 in the end, despite the blues no. 9 missing two sitters at the start of the match, and the white team scoring first.

If the names are correct seems like the campbell lad did well  for his 2nd game in 2 days.

That is him. He's only 19, and was previously at Histon.

Little bit more info here. One of the lads can't be far off representing us in the olympic sprints if that time is correct!

100m in 10.52? Jesus, that's properly quick, he must be exaggerating that.

Those things that theyve written about themselves sound like the shite you put at the bottom of your CV. What the fuckety fuck is 'Futsal' anyway?

Isn't futsal one of those 5-a-side variants brought over from Brazil with the heavy and small ball? It's meant to develop close control and skill. I seem to remember someone trying to introduce in around the Boro area.
