Those articles are suggesting that the fish all died because of unusually low sea temperatures.

The birds are a bit wierd though.

I think this is the usual press thing of tagging onto stuff that probably happens all the time, and making out it's abnormal. Bit like the daily mail do. In fact I saw the mail this week somewhere and it was saying don't eat nuts you'll get fat, do you ever see lardy squirrels? No, any way  I digress, next story will be 2000 Lemmings dieing, or 50 whales wash up on a beach, in short nature is doing what nature does.
