I also saw 100000 fish had died not far from where the birds died. Maybe the mayans and John Cusack are right?

It's not particularly funny, but as someone's going to say "Yes, and Swindon won a game after going behind." then it may as well be me.

Yeah, I am basing this on nothing but I'd imagine the weather will go a bit mental, as will animals for a bit and then it'll calm down.
I don't think we're gonna get wiped off the the map or anything..

I read a fair bit about that years ago. If I remember we are a couple of thousand overdue for that to happen?

This is something we were discussing in the pub the other night - we weren't sure if the magnetic poles were affected by shifts in tectonic plates but if they were then even a small shift it would have a major effect on climate - not sure about the birds and fish though!

This is exactly how FlashFoward started.
Think about it. Dead birds. Thousands of people have no recollection of the night of 31/12.....Its happening.

Meh. The end of the world is not going to happen for several billion years. The human race will, of course, have managed to kill itself off long before that, but the planet has a while left yet and can survive just find without us raping it.

See they've found 2 million of another single species of fish dead in Chesapeake Bay, getting freaky...
