The two goals at Posh showed what could have been......quality finishes.

I assume due to our fantastic links with Manchester City they will be sending us another loan player as a replacement.

That really pissed me off yesterday. Wilson clearly played him in the hope of getting him for a bit longer. The fact he hasn't started for 2 months tells you he isn't wilsons first choice but he still played him.

I think Wilson was hoping that Ball could do what Danny Ward did last year, but it just didn't work.
As for the two goals at Peterborough, that came when we were playing a 4-3-3 with Ball & Ritchie wide. I think that most would agree that formation didn't really work out, so we reverted to a 4-4-2 which really hasn't suited him.

Ah, well we'll just get someone from Liverpool instead - we've got links with them after we sold Jamie Stephens to them, right?

Very much so. I'd let Ball go and then sign a decent striker this month.

Ball might yet make an OK League 1 player.
I guess these big clubs who pump millions of pounds into their academies get a bit pissed off when they realise the best players out of these academies struggle to get in a League 1 team (£8k a week Nouble as well).

No wonder Man City would be pissed off with the likes of Pericard starting ahead of him.
Shown glimpses of quality, but not what we need at the minute. Good luck to him.

That or he's totally lost faith in Pericard. He has been talking about getting another striker to play alongside Austin. Shame Ball hasn't played more. Might become a half decent strike, not sure he's there yet. Definitely not a Nouble though!

Think that was more of a last game "show me what you can do" scenario. Hasn't done enough for me to get the full season.

Ball would have been a good player for last season - for this season he's not what we need. Right player - wrong time. If I was in his shoes I'd go back to Man City and look for another loan.
