I worry as well...Ben seems to have deserted Sherlock Manatee for Jessica Fletcher.

Just a quick top up....Swindon are looking to tie up 3-4 permanent deals in january window, all costing money. They will be 3 or 4 of the following players

CENTRE BACK:- one of either Andy Frampton (Millwall), Lubomir Michalik (Leeds), Paul Quinn (Cardiff) or Guy Branston (Torquay)

LEFT WING:- Matt Ritchie(Pompey), Danny Ward (loan from Bolton) or Andy Robinson (Leeds)

Right Wing:- Ivan Sproule (Bristol City), Nicky Law (Rotherham), Alan Judge (Blackburn) or Scott Neilson (Crawley)

STRIKERS:- Elliot Benyon (Torquay), David Healy (Sunderland), Aaron Wilbraham (Franchise), John Campbell (Newcastle Benfield) or Matt Tubbs (Crawley)

They will be joined at the club by the winner of the Samsung 'Win A Pro Contract' initiative, although obviously noone knows the position of the winner yet or whether he will be ready for first team duties.

Could also see a couple of departures from the County Ground in January for nominal fees or loans, these could be,
Callum Kennedy (loan)
Alan O'Brien (Cheltenham or Cork City)
Nathan Thompson (loan)
Jakub Jesionkowski (loan to Oxford City)
Billy Bodin (loan)
Will Evans (loan)
And of course the player that is on everyones lips at the moment, Charlie Austin, although it is believed the club are looking for around 1.8-2.2 million plus add ons for the player they paid just 5 grand for!

Can't find anything to this effect in my Mill but it would put a lot of smiles on a lot of faces to see Paynter back in red!

Another list of made up names some no nothing twat already posted on facebook.

Wilbraham already signed for Norwich. David Healy earns more in a week than our entire first team. Cheltenham couldnt afford AOBs wages let alone Cork City.

The only ones that are slightly realistic are the three players already at the club Roll Eyes

Lets be honest, we will sell Charlie and bring no one in. Wilson will claim he is happy with what he has upfront then we wont score for the next 6 games but Pericard will hold the ball up and bring others into play™

Rubbish my rumours if you will but i tell you each and everyone is guarenteed gospel fact!

Yes, that does mean Austin will be rotating his services between eight clubs while we will end up with more players than fans!

Btw, i just want to add something that was just processed through the Bullshit Buzz Banter Mill!

Wilson two days ago: “We’ve got a couple of priorities. We need another striker and we need a defender to come in and supplement us.

And this presumably working on the belief that Austin is at the club. Of course we'll sign another striker. If he's any good or not is another matter.

Might be worth mentioning that now Charlton Athletic have a new board i have it on good authority from a very reliable bottle of ketchup that they will be tabling a bid for Austin in the transfer window....  Zzz

Besides, isn't Fabio Borini in talks with Parma right now? Ha! And Gabor Gyepes is a first team player at Cardiff, so it'd be very unlikely he'd drop down from promotion chasing Cardiff, to mid table Swindon.

You are being kind with the Mid Table bit!
