I had to look it up in the book with all the scores, scorers etc in. Believe it or not I was in a fairly similar state it being Boxing day and all.
Bollocks was it only 2. I was far too young to drink so can't blame that, I must be going sealion.

Mine was on 27/03/1979 a David Moss hat trick versus the Scummers. Lively occasion as always. I also remeber Rowland getting 4 v Rotherham a couple of seasons later. Seen a fair few since including Charlie Henry's away v Halifax when we got promoted out of div 4. Pedanrtic alert, McHale only got 2 v the Gay Boys when it was abandoned - if it was 3 then that would hav e been my first hat trick also. [/quot
Could do with him in the side now!! What a player..

I remember that game. Hoddle was taking the piss out of their players towards the end of the game.

I'm not sure I've ever seen one. Maybe I'm cursed. It would have been our 6-0 win over huddersfield in 96(?) but despite having a season ticket I missed that one.

He took the piss a couple of times that season. Notts county as well. Maybe a 5 nil victory. 1 was a penalty where hoddle was juggling the ball in their box and kicked it onto the defenders hand. He was class that year.

The first town hat trick I can remember is Chalkie White's away to Watford in 93'.
Don't know if this really counts as I got chucked out in the second half for being under the influence and missed his third goal...
Also remember asking Ernie Wise (Some of the older lot on here will remember him) if he could get me back in. Fair play to him, he tried as he didn't want pissed up town fans wandering the mean streets of Watford causing mischief.
Fairest copper I ever met was FLO Wise, still a Cunt mind...

Think my first was probably Cox's against Scunthorpe. I missed a lot of the Parkin-era games due to work.

Jimmy Quinn against Pompey in the league cup, September '87.
I'd kill for Quinn, White or Bamber in our forward line now, let alone all three.

I think Dave Mitchell got three at St Andrews in 1993 vs the Blues.....the legendary come back from being 4:1 down we came back to win 4:6...Shaun Taylor and Hoddle were outstanding for us..
