What do you reckon? Will he become a legend along with the likes of Parkin, Rodgers etc etc...

Not for me, still wouldn't have been here for long enough.

the worrying thing is... 3 years seems to be a long time in football now! We'll be lucky to see him here for that long!! but if he was here for 5/6 then yeah deffo a MEGA legend!

we need a massive post christmas turnaround and playoff final victory in may for him to consider staying i fear!

If legend status was now based on the duration of a Town career then David Duke and Mark Robinson would have statues outside the ground.

If he stays then he will be a legend in my eyes. If he goes he will be a cunt. If it was not for stfc then he may of well been out in the winter cold laying bricks and shovelling cement. Show some loyalty please Charlie.

Depends how a deal is done. I presume the club would have to receive and accept an offer before Austin can negotiate and if he's offered twice as much money as he is here it's a no brainer really and you can't blame him.

I think he's already at Parkin status. Rogers, doubt it unless he spends another couple of years and more importantly the team WIN something while he's here.

It's interesting that you have him alongside Parkin. I'm not sure he's there yet - not far off though.

He's on a contract. Don't accept bids, don't accept a transfer request. Not until the last year of his contract. Even if he's not happy he'll probably still score goals.

Failing that - get a swap deal for Tevez.

Yes i do.....he is only 21 and two more years would see him till 23.......we are paying the likes of Douglas and Pericard good..good money, pay him the same or make him top earner....another two years could be a possibility......as Alan Mayes says a lot will depend on what the board feels.
This is why the cup exit was a massive blow......a good cup run may have convinced the board financially not to sell.
