Lordy I hate non-STFC weekends during the football season.

Sheffield Wednesday are giving Bristol Rovers a hiding... Brentford beating Southampton away.

Brighton have missed a penalty at Huddersfield

I can't help but think our game was called off way too early. There are only two games off in Leagues 1 and 2. Ironic I suppose after being the only game played in L1 last week Roll Eyes

I also enjoyed Colin Murray's description of the Plymouth Argyle vs. Exeter City grudge match...

"Bradley Wright-Phillips has scored for Plymouth Argyle against Exeter City and now on to the big game between Chesterfield and Torquay United..."

I bet that annoyed a few Cheesy

Pitches up here are fine. I've had football this morning in Blackburn and the pitches were quite soft, with waterlogging more of a problem than them being frozen. Think they wanted to be sure rather than run the risk of cancelling today. But I will take the game being off as they're not playing too bad at home, as long as it isn't rearranged for the 3rd round weekend - purely for selfish reasons, especially as I will only see a handful of games this season.

Can't imagine his career at Aberdeen will last longer now McGhee has left.

... Rhys Evans currently warms the bench at one of the worst teams in the Football League (currently). I bet he didn't see that coming 5 years ago.

Match of the Day is at 10pm tonight, and the Football League Show is at 11.20pm

Glad they mentioned that on Radio 5 else I'd have ended up missing the start of MOTD!
